Robert Denton has
a neuromuscular disease called “Charcot-MarieTooth.” – No, it has nothing to do with teeth. This condition is named after the three French Neurologists who discovered it. The condition is a form of Muscular Dystrophy that affects the limbs first and progressively moves inward. Denton was walking until seven years ago.
Now, in his mid 40’s, Denton’s hands are affected to the point where he has lost the feeling
in his fingertips – he can not feel the pen in his fingers as he draws. Nontheless, Denton continues undaunted in his passion -- drawing caricatures, portraits and cartoons.
Rob has many interests including internet surfing, reading, creative writing, music, songwriting, art, drawing, cartooning
and Bible study (history & archeaology)
